Auto-Save Split

Checklists
Turn a one-line chore into a teachable sequence. Build a reusable list of steps — each with its own icon — and attach it to a chore or event; your child ticks them off as they go. "Clean your room" becomes make the bed, toys away, vacuum.
- Reusable templates you attach anywhere — edit a copy without changing the original
- Every step carries an icon; adding a step suggests ones from your other lists (and asks before a duplicate)
- Pick a type — a plain list, a shopping list or recipe with quantities and units (2 l, 200 g, 6 pcs), or a packing list
- Add a free-text note — a recipe's method, or a "which aisle" reminder
- Progress bar per chore; ticks sync across devices and reset each day. Long lists collapse so a 30-item shop doesn't fill the screen
- Attach one to a calendar event too — tick it off from the Today strip or a kid's board, not just the calendar
- Guide mode is just a helper — or use Must finish all so a chore can't be marked done until every step is checked
